I'd forgotten all about This Mortal Coil - and particularly these two songs. I spent a lot of my teenage years listening to this and wailing over various (lost/unrequited) loves. Funny when something is so familiar from so long ago - like an old friend making contact again. And despite these teen-angst associations - those memories make me smile quite a lot now - the lyrics are beautiful.
