wandering / post-wanderings

Today I catch my bus onward for the next chapter, so some good things to remember from the last few days (in no particular order):

Yellow plum and shredded mint popsiccles.
The High Line.
Blue budgies sharing bread with pigeons.
Pupusas at Brooklyn Flea.
Iced water bowls outside shops for dogs.
The lunch pail (bought) and the rather marvelous Brooklyn Art Library that I found it in.
The tip off from Holly, to read Notable American Women, by Ben Marcus, for my literary-inspired speech drawings. And a nicely designed small press American edition at that.
The cheat's guide to Derrida.
Small nervous dogs, in rucksacks, on bicycles.
Good ripe fruit.
Words in smoke.
Putting your shorts in the freezer to get the chewing gum off - and then realising that when it's this hot, it's actually really nice to just put the icy shorts on. People probably do it all the time.
