A drawing I'm currently working on. (Will upload this one again when complete, but that background is taking forever - the piece is 113 x 70cm…)

It's inspired by a sentence taken from Great House by Nicole Krauss:

'His voice unraveling like a ribbon dropped from a roof.'

I'm looking for other quotes taken from any source, similar to this sort of thing, that describe ways of talking, the voice and poetic portrayals of how we utter words. 

If you out there have any suggestions, let me know. I want to make a series of these drawings with titles inspired by texts extracted from literary works.
